“Say My Name” was released as a single from David Guetta’s album (his seventh
one) on October 26 of 2018. But the song had been made public before, back in September, when the whole album made its debut.
“Say My Name” was not the first collaboration between David Guetta and Bebe
Rexha. They have worked together in “Hey Mama”, only at that time Rexha didn’t have much of a name of her own. So, about that, she said: “it was a weird time because I was credited with the song without being really known… it was nice to have another song with him and everything starts again from the beginning”.
